Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Skedo Games ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and stores information about you when you play Elyme Arena or visit elyme.online.

1. Who We Are

Elyme Arena is developed and operated by Eduard Angelov, trading as Skedo Games. For privacy-related requests, contact us at: skedogames@gmail.com

2. Data We Collect

a) Account & Authentication Data

Elyme Arena uses Unity Gaming Services (UGS) Authentication and Steam to identify players. When you log in, we receive and store:

  • Your Steam ID and Steam display name
  • A Unity Player ID assigned by Unity's Authentication service
  • Your Steam avatar URL

Authentication is handled by Unity Technologies and Valve Corporation. We do not store your Steam password or payment credentials. For more information on how Unity handles authentication data, see Unity's Privacy Policy.

b) Game Progress & Player Data

Your game data is stored using Unity Cloud Save, a service operated by Unity Technologies. This includes:

  • Player name, level, rank, and experience points
  • Match statistics (matches played, wins, kills)
  • Unlocked items, cosmetics, and class selections
  • Energy and reward balances
  • Game settings and preferences

c) Email Address (Optional)

If you choose to provide your email address on our website or in-game, we collect and store it for the following purposes:

  • Notifying you about the game's release, updates, and events
  • Sending game-related promotional content from Skedo Games only
  • In-game email confirmation rewards (where applicable)

Email collection is entirely opt-in. We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us at skedogames@gmail.com.

Our email provider processes email addresses on our behalf. Only Skedo Games and our email service provider have access to your address.

d) Purchase Data

In-game purchases in Elyme Arena are processed exclusively through Steam (Valve Corporation). We do not collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information. Valve handles all payment processing and is solely responsible for that data.

We store a record of which items you have purchased (e.g. cosmetics, battle passes) in order to restore your inventory. For details on how Steam handles purchase data, see Steam's Privacy Policy.

e) Server & Technical Data

Dedicated game servers are hosted via Edgegap. Technical connection data (IP address, session tokens) is processed transiently during matchmaking and gameplay. We do not store IP addresses beyond the duration of a game session.

Crash and error reports may be collected by Unity Technologies diagnostics tools to help us identify and fix bugs. These reports may include device type, operating system, and anonymised stack traces.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — game data is necessary to provide the game service
  • Consent — email marketing, collected only with explicit opt-in
  • Legitimate interests — crash reporting and service security

4. Data Retention

  • Account & game data: retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Email address: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Session data: deleted at the end of each game session.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw consent for email communications at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at skedogames@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

Elyme Arena uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:

  • Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services)
  • Valve Corporation (Steam)
  • Edgegap (game server hosting)

7. Children's Privacy

Elyme Arena is not directed at children under 12. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 12. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at skedogames@gmail.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the game or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
